I like it. It gives the music a nice unique touch, but the main thing they need to do is to make more different music. New Super Mario Bros. U has the best music mainly because it's a different theme from the first three New Super Mario Bros. games.

Not that much, they're not terrible or anything but I'd like if they removed them, something more in the line of Super Mario Run (which replaced them with an instrument) would be a nice thing.

marginally better than the infamous Yoshi Clan; this at least has actual music as a base, so it still qualifies as "music"

it's still horrid though.

I actually really like the ending theme of NSMB2. Excessive doot-doos are better than excessive bahs.

Probably why the Secret Courses in Sunshine sound okay too.
