It's nice to see this oddball game get some fanart. It's rather nostalgic in a way.

I just can't stop looking and it and thinking that Mario got slammed in the face by some moving block thing, and it's cracking me up.
 
So it's not a super special awesome type of arrow lifts that slam into Mario's face.... awwwww.

Really depends how Mario is hurt. That Ridley trailer hurt my soul. Seeing Mario suffer in Mario Party also isn't that fun because honestly, that's Wario's job.

But seeing Mario go "WHOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO" (Mario Party 6) after filling his body with shotgun pellets is always hilarious, and I found that one DOOM video where Mario made dying Arachnotron noises made my lungs implode.

But damn Mario is hilarious in Giant Melee that one time where he was at the upper blast line and I threw a crate at him and it hit. So Mario was all "WOA-*low pitched Super Mario 64 yell*".

Very true, the developers make entire video games about them suffering: Mario Kart, Mario soccer, and of course Mario Party.

You're one of those guys who gets pleasure from burning Mario's butt in lava in SM64 and making him fly and scream uncontrolably.


Like me. I should be ashamed :mario: .
 
I got pleasure from casting Mario in blue lava in Super Mario 3D World, so it's probably even worse searing pain.

But my preferred method is just to go to Tiny Huge Island and go to the sandy slope area where the Fire Chomp, stand in the water, have fires touch Mario. He'll scream, but won't lose health.
 
It's funnier to make him burn under a platform so that he can't fly out of the lava and gets stuck in an endless cycle of pain and screaming.


Still there's nothing more pleasant than making Luigi jump into a black hole in Mario Galaxy.


Or jumping off Yoshi so that he falls into a pit in SMW.


Or punching DK to death in Punch Out.


You know what you're right. Torturing Mario characters is fun.

Considering the Twitter page is in Japanese, I think we can bet good money on this.
 
The idea that Wario is Stromboli is super appropriate, right behind Rosalina being the Blue Fairy. Waluigi and Luigi being Honest John and Gideon is a pretty odd choice though.
