Textures are literally something that you can look at while playing the game.
It's easier to see textures when they're a sheet (that way you can discern the texture resolution and find all the details) and you don't really know what the bumpmaps and specmaps look like in-game.
Well, yes, but you don't need to have them all laid out in front of you, separate from the models, to notice a difference in quality.

I'd be easier to tell than screenshots or gameplay of the game though.

They get multiple development builds. I don't know why we are arguing. Treehouse gets full access to the game so they can localise things in time.

If they do get files to change, it's mostly just text files rather than textures.

We all know what you are getting at dude. It's not going to happen.

Seriously, cut the Daisy bullshit, it's getting really fucking annoying.

I played the game at a convention yesterday. It's fun, the Metro Kingdom (AKA the Real World) is great. There's something so fitting about seeing Mario in a pinstripe suit and fedora in a 1940s esque city. I headcanon New Donk City as his hometown before he discovered the Mushroom Kingdom

I notice a lot of the people with Bowser avatars like to play the elitist game, and pretend that they are high and mighty because Bowser is the main villain.

I make no pretenses about my fanboyism, however I don't talk about it all the goddamn time.

What, do you see people with Baby Luigi avatars as weak, meek, crybabies?

I notice a lot of the people with Daisy avatars are loud, persistent and obnoxious because Daisy is loud, persistent and obnoxious.
