It was okay. A 3D remake, however, could be gnarly if it fixes some of the major problems.

I honestly just want ANY form of good Wario platforming at this point.

Seeing the protagonist Mario characters with teeth is funny, if not slightly creepy. For example, Mario's Mega Strike in Mario Strikers Charged has him rising up in the air, but he will grit his teeth. The thing is, his teeth are all visible, as you can see below:

Mario's not the only character who has this. Take Yoshi, another example, in a Yoshi's Story artwork:

To a lesser extent, Peach's gritting is rather funny, in a strange way, though not necessary gritting her teeth like the above examples:

However, some characters are funnier when they grit their teeth, so I don't mind them doing it. The main ones are Wario, Waluigi and Donkey Kong. For the former two, that's part of their character design, so I can kind of see why they seem normal with them, but for Donkey Kong, something about him is funny when he is showing his teeth.
