That would be the ultimate proof that they don't give a crap about the wealth of characters in the Mario franchise just begging to be used, if they resort to creating duplicates rather than something that makes more sense. King Boo would do nicely, but there are others who are more overdue for an appearance.

She would actually make for a nice boss, actually. She's overdue for something bigger than a role in a Mario Party game.

Or that they just didn't bother programming in a replacement. Not that it would surprise me PnD has many aspects in common with pokemon.

Like being playable in Mario Kart.

I like the idea of King Boo being the main villain. He's sinister, has a cool design (in Luigi's Mansion), and works well as the final boss.

From the looks of this game, if King Boo were to appear they'd probably go with his lame design.
 
Because its quicker to just take boo and slap a crown on it.
 
Is there really any difference from Dark Moon King Boo from the Big King Boo other than the eyes, blue mouth, and crown?

Yeah I know, the original Luigi's Mansion King Boo had only two teeth, but the more modern one looks more like a regular Boo than that.
 
No, but still prefer the blue mouth and dark eyes and what not.
