That's not Gooper Blooper's nose. That's a cork in its mouth, which, when taken out, allows Gooper Blooper to spit goop at Mario if he gets too far to smack with its tentacles.

One reason I like Look Away is that the facial expressions, you don't really get to see anywhere else.

Can confirm, my house is right next to a beach and that beach gets pretty disgusting in the summer when everyone's here.

In all honesty, I just misremembered. The game says it's his mouth, bit considering that I haven't seen that dialogue in god knows how long, it kinda makes sense I didn't remember.

There are some things about beaches that you're better off not knowing, and they're NOT human related.
