This is huge, considering Twitch is probably the biggest streaming site for video games.

Wow. Here's to no Google+ integration (hopefully).

good

also i hope google doenst fuck up twitch like they did with youtube
god damn what am i saying
lets enjoy twitch while we still can and its not shitty

No I hope they don't buy Twitch. The last thing this world needs is more ----ing idiotic copyright strikes and ----ty Google Plus in other video sites.

one step closer to google's full internet domination

I'm a bit worried about what that means with the legal stuff. After all, Youtube was taking down add revenue from LPs on its own site. How is streaming games any different?

yeah honestly, if twitch ends up like youtube with copyright claims everywhere, this is going to suck

May 18, 2018: Google to buy the Mario Wiki and Mario Boards for $1 billion

If this does happen, im outta here

I'm expecting Google to *bleep* it up somehow. If it doesn't do anything anti-consumer, I'd be honestly surprised.

1 Billion is a lot, but YouTube already became a pain in the ass after Google Plus came into the picture. I'm literally done with the fact that I can't do certain things because my account is using a yahoo-email adress instead of a google-email address.

So I do hope Twitch turns it down.

i could care less really

i dont use twitch and im used to youtube so yeah

Rules are for fools.

And really, why does anyone want Google to buy Twitch? Can't Twitch work fine by itself? Or am I missing something?
