Like anyone will say anything other than Google.

"Oh, I use Lycos!"
"Hotbot all the way!"
"Who could forget Ask Jeeves?"

Why do we need all of these search engines anyway?

I use Google because it produces the best results for me.

They have different ways of ordering results so one may give you better results than another. For instance, Google's top results favour websites with many backlinks (ie: other pages that link to that website), as well as websites that pay for advertising, whereas other engines like Yahoo will tend to favour traffic

Money is also a factor but nobody knows how to compete with Google so this is kind of a bad thing to try and strive for.

Facebook Graph Search 'might' be a contender in the future because it specialises its search to find 'people' and 'places' rather than just webpages, but that also means people selling their soul to Facebook instead so that any random person can find them based on their interests and whatnot.
