Why exactly is the game going to be rated M instead of T? Is the ESRB getting stricter, or is this game gonna be gorier?
From what I've seen, this game is filled with blood and gory details.

crap
The first game had a girl bleeding on the floor (first case), the second had a dead body with a lot of blood everywhere (second case), the third game had a guy coughing up blood from his mouth and another bleeding from his hand (fourth case), and the fourth game... I don't think there were many examples of blood? In any case, blood and gory details are really not new to the series.

Gawddamnit I want t know what the spoilers say but I don't want to be spoiled.

I guess 3D just adds a whole new dimension of realness to the whole thing

i know that, but considering that the graphics are improved in this one, i'm going to assume the bloody moments will look even more unsettling than those examples

on a non-aa5 related note, i'm going to try and get investigations: miles edgeworth. hopefully it'll be worth it

On another non-AA5 related note, I got Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney through WiiWare, I can't get the original GBA or DS versions D:, and I'm fucking loving everything.

I can't stop playing it, atm I'm in the middle of Turnabout Samurai, talking to Sal Manella.

I have searched through every gaming store that I can find. None of them have Ace Attorney games. None.
try online, because you're not going to get them normally

Well, I've already bought the iPhone collection, but I've resorted to other means for getting the other games.

Not looking hard enough.

Great site, have had no bad experiences with them ever.

Phoenix Wright on WiiWare doesn't initially come with Rise from the Ashes and you need to buy it on DLC.

That's about the only difference I am aware of.

And if you didn't play through Rise from the Ashes then play through Rise from the Ashes because it is my favourite thing ever.

yeah that's the only problem i've had. i can't get it because i don't think there's a way to add only 100 points, and i'm not going to add 1000 points just for one chapter

i've watched most of rise from the ashes on youtube tho so at least i know most plot relevant stuff

Funny enough I purchased Super Mario RPG for 900 points, which left me with an extra 100 points for Rise from the Ashes. I ain't playing it until I clear Turnabout Goodbyes (I'm blind-running this so I've avoided spoilers for everything).

therefore I had no idea about Mia ;-;

And holy fuck Edgeworth rocks. The end of Turnabout Samurai was fantastic.

yeah well i would do something like that but i don't have a classic controller, and i got it on wii u so the gamecube controller won't work either :(

Well that's a shame, isn't there a 3rd party adapter that allows you to use the Gamecube controller on Wii U? Super Mario RPG is great, but I've barely touched it since I'm so absorbed in Ace Attorney atm.

Grab some NES / Wiimote-compatible games instead?

Alternatively, you could get some of these. My housemate owns a couple and they work reasonably well. They basically turn your GC controller into a Classic Controller:

Get one the few games you do want to get then. :P

so i decided to look at dual destinies on my brother's australian 3ds to see what the rating was, and it said it was rated "pg"

it was as big of a surpise as when i first heard that the esrb rated it "m"

I was somewhat shocked when I saw the 16 rating on this game when I saw it on the e-shop earlier today.

I have Dual destinies now and I have done the first case and some of the second case so far
The first case is pretty tough for a tutorial, it's not quite as good as AJ's first case as it is obvious that Ted did it but is way better than Lost turnabout and first turnabout and is also a little bit better than turnabout memories.

I like Athena as a character and Simon seems really interesting as well, I love the 'Simon says' puns. I really like Simons theme for some reason...
