Sakurai goes into detail about all the DLC characters individually.

Couple things to note: He makes it sound like he was only gonna bring back three vets as DLC. Mewtwo was a given, and Lucas and Roy were chosen to represent their Smash games of origin. From what it sounds like, Wolf was never even considered.

He also made a joke about too many FE characters.

Like every other game Ganondorf sucks because he relies on his opponent fucking up while not having any way to make them fuck up, recovery boost would just make him die slower

By not touching Puff, Sakurai has manged to make her worse every patch by virtue of the fact that nearly everyone else in improving.

I'm kinda baffled as to why Corrin's ground speed was nerfed (both dash and walking), didn't seem necessary lol. Aerials being nerfed by 1% are eh, Counter was understandable tho.

Also Cloud got hit with the nerf hammer pretty hard as well (Uair does 1% less, mid-air Finishing Touch KOs a lot later, Dair doesn't combo into FT since I believe the autocancel or landing lag changed and Limit Break Charging with Down-B takes a bit longer).

Surprised Rosa wasn't touched, not really complaining but I KNOW a good majority of the community despises her broken Uair (and I guess Luma Dair?) lol

And here I am maining a character whose only had 2 notable changes and has gotten the most trivial changes throughout each patch
