Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS Discussion

[Magikrazy]

MarioWiki and SmashWiki's current stance is that it would most likely have been "Toadwood Forest" from Partners in Time since the songs are pretty much placed in chronological order.

Sakurai goes into detail about all the DLC characters individually.

Couple things to note: He makes it sound like he was only gonna bring back three vets as DLC. Mewtwo was a given, and Lucas and Roy were chosen to represent their Smash games of origin. From what it sounds like, Wolf was never even considered.

He also made a joke about too many FE characters.

I mean, the modelers responsible for his design also worked on the Tales series, so it makes sense (laughs).

Hmmm very very interesting...

Which is why I think we should forget about console wars and focus on what’s really important: enjoying the games themselves.

OMG so much this. I love that jab.

Overall the interview was so much fun to read

Aww FUCK!! I clicked the wrong button! I wanted to vote for Mewtwo and Lucas and ended up voted for Lucas and Ryu! Can I change my vote, please?

So we just got a balance patch out of nowhere. Check SmashBoards for a more in depth look, but here are a few highlights:

Sheik and ZSS nerfed!
Zelda and Samus buffed!
Mewtwo is faster and slightly heavier!
Corrin nerfs!

Isn't the second time or more Ganondorf got a buff in his jab?
That's nice, but his recovery really needs a buff.
