Despite my dislike for Other M, I wouldn't be entirely opposed to Anthony Higgs getting a slot.

Ridley and Dark Samus come first, though.

I'm not even the biggest supporter behind Ridley (Heck I'm a bit skeptical considering I don't even have him on my roster) but in no way do I see how that pic confirms Ridley is a Stage Hazard. It seems to be jumping to conclusions. Red + Blue makes purple. The blue is the color of the lightning effect after a powerful attack. The red is from Dedede's rocket hammers. It's the reason why it looks purple.

Plus if that's Ridley. Is it a claw? It seems too skinny and long to be that just looking at both designs (The usual design + Other M) of Ridley's. Too skinny to be the tail. And if it's a wing, it's still too skinny.

Yeah, it's too small to be Ridley.

It's a small part the lightning effect around Dedede blending with the red glow from the blast-off effect. I get that people are anxious for anything that confirms or deconfirms Ridley but come on.

i won't be convinced that he's completely deconfirmed until he's explicitly shown to be something that isn't playable

so much.

Ridley and Dark Samus are much better than Rundas. Truth be told, though Rundas is my favorite of the non-human bounty hunters in MP3, if one were to make it into the game, my pick would be Gandrayda.

im not sure i even want ridley due to the fact that they will shrink him and quite frankly i dont think he needs to be shrunk, i think i like ridley more as a boss.

Dark samus could be cool though, since she has so many different forms of attack then your average samus or zss.

Overall though i want rundas mainly due to his design and the fact that his boss battle was just so awesome.

I guess that goes hand in hand though since dark samus is a completely different species then actual samus.

well i dunno about that, i just know a lot of fighting games like the pull off the whole "FORMER GOOD CHARACTER IS NOW DARK AND FIGHTS MORE AGGRESSIVELY"

good examples of this are king of fighters and capcom vs snk series.

and i guess snk vs capcom series as well.

Why would that apply to Brawl, a crossover fighting game that only uses prexisting Nintendo characters and IPs

In all seriousness though, I am a Ridley supporter. If you've seen my Smash roster (which you guys should all check out), you can see that Ridley has been in most versions of it.

And before you say he's too big, look at this:

I've seen you post that pic before. I wouldn't mind having Ridley at all, even though I've never played a Metroid game yet.....He probably would become my main.

that's clearly a HUGE shrinking from the actual games (and from The Subspace Emissary). he picks up samus all the time, and always towers over her, not at eye level.

although they've demonstrated that they are willing to change sizes for some characters (such as olimar), i think that since ridley has already appeared in super smash bros in his regular size that they probably won't shrink him to make him a character.

well, bowser's size is kinda arbitrary since he's been shown as various different sizes in the marioverse. so that's forgivable.

and if they go by continuity, they'd have to keep ridley the same size as he was in brawl.
