Well good, then I guess Daisy has even more competition because characters like Waluigi, the Babies, and Toadette also has a chance. :P

Well, in spin-offs, all characters are basically equal in importance. There is Main character, Major Character, minor character, etc. (well, I'm talking about non-RPG spin-offs).

Well, of course she's not Mario. She doesn't wear overalls, doesn't wear a hat, doesn't wear brown shoes, doesn't wear a red shirt, doesn't have brown/black hair, doesn't have a giant nose, and doesn't have a moustache.

I think Waluigi has as much "identity" if not more then Daisy he's had more uniqueness added to him in certain games where he's actually more different from Wario then Daisy was from Peach (Ex: Him being able to swim in the air temporarily in Mario Power Tennis and it's even shown up in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games). He even has a funnier personality that would make Taunts and Victory animations more satisfying

But it's a moot point. As any identity the Spin-off series give them aren't going to suddenly make them more likely for Smash Bros. As Rosalina's appearence shows, it's appearances in the Main games (Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario 3D World most of all) that count along with character popularity and success of the game (Super Mario Galaxy) they're from, as well as a bit of recency. When Waluigi has as much chance as Daisy, she's in big trouble. Because there's also Toad and Bowser Jr. to deal with.

Yes. Canonically speaking, Kirby is only 8 inches tall and Dedede isn't much larger than that.
