Alright, I've been studying the video, and so far, here are that vehicle part stats that I've gathered. Stat values are out of 24, and the Standard Kart + Standard + Super Glider combo is the default combo.

Oh did they? iirc they kept honey queen hidden untill it got leaked.

Nintendo seems to be really going all-out with mario kart 8 as their last shot of saving the wiiu.

Aside from that, MK8 and Super Smash Bros. 4 will make Wii U sales jump. But it might just end up like the Gamecube where Melee and Double Dash were the best-sellers by far. But not alot of other games came close to either game. But a repeat of the Gamecube is looking like a better situation then it is now. If it turns around the Wii U sales better then I expect it too I will be pleasantly surprised.

Yes I know there's smashbros but Nintendo has stated multiple times they expect Mario Kart 8 to boost sales and many critics have claimed the wiiu is doomed if mario kart 8 doesn't sell well enough. And you can see they're going all out with the koopa kids being included and the live orchestrated music.

So, In the direct, there were "Cornering" and "Grip" stats. I'm guessing cornering is drift, and grip is handling, but I could be wrong. Then again, grip probably isn't handling considering that monster wheels gets a bunch of boosts for it. So is cornering handling? What's grip? I'm confused.

On the topic of the direct, I like how Super Circuit was completely skipped over in "Mario Kart Through The Ages".

I hate it. But I can't blame them for leaving out Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. But Super Circuit... just why? And where are the Arcade GP games?

By the way, Baby Luigi and Lefty, I know you hate online play, but if I invited you to play with me (and some other users from this forum), would you do it? It's not like you're going to play with cheating strangers. I don't promise anything, though.

Maybe we could arrange a match or two in "Game With Friends". That is if you even want me

I hate it. But I can't blame them for leaving out Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. But Super Circuit... just why? And where are the Arcade GP games?

I was being sarcastic when I said I liked it, Super Circuit was one of my favorite games on the GBA, besides Superstar Saga.

Also, they left out the GP games because Nintendo doesn't give a crap about them.

Super Circuit often gets the shaft. Super Circuit has a wide variety of courses, but developers chose just the Bowser Castles and the only Mario Circuit (and the meh Shy Guy Beach). Sky Garden is the only good course to return.

Arcade games are made by Namco. They also play differently than Mario Kart. The premise is the same; race and hit people with items, but the item system is drastically different.

Anyway, MK8's online community system seems much better than MK7's, so it will probably be much easier to organize races.

We don't know, but "Pop or be popped" sounds a bit suspicious.

There's free for all battle (and possibly team battle as an option) in remixed tracks

I am kinda disappointed in the new Rainbow Road, but hopefully there's more for them to show.

On the other hand, I am extremely impressed with Bowser's Castle.
