Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

The RPGs in general have had a lot more flops than the other spin-offs (sports, party, kart)
So as a whole sub-genre yeah I'd agree
But there are a few greats in there

Uh, no. RPGs have about as much flops as any other genre

Mario platformers have Lost Levels, Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. 2
Mario Kart has Mario Kart 64
Mario Party has Mario Party 9, Mario Party Island Tour, and soon-to-be Mario Party 10
Mario Sports like Tennis and Golf have their handheld games

RPGs has Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Super Paper Mario.

If you mean relatively speaking, no, the RPGs muster some of the greatest games in the franchise as well (Partners in Time, Thousand-Year Door) too.

I think that the Mario RPGs are among the worst games of the Franchise.

Please explain. I dare you.

Well maybe to you, but Galaxy 2 isn't a flop.
Mario Kart 64? I love it personally, I would say Super Circuit is a better example because crap ranking system and horrible controls.
For Mario Party, well opinions again. But Mario Party Advance is a better example.

I liked Super Paper Mario, but it would have been better with more RPG elements.

It does have adequate RPG elements. Look again.

@Cirdec that's exactly what's wrong with opinions eh?

I mean for Mario Party 9, I guess you say it's a flop because of the car mechanic, but some like it. It is still far better than Mario Party 8 in term of minigames.
For Galaxy 2, you dislike it but this game sold lots of copies and is praised, it isn't a flop.

I loved MP8!
I still don't understand what everyone thought was so bad about it.

MK64's just aged horribly. It does have its merits, but later Mario Kart games outshine it.

Per this from what I got to play of it.

I don't care. Skylanders is praised and sold lot of copies. Is it considered a flop? Perhaps.

Mario Party 8 actually has some of my favorite minigames in the series but its board play and motion controls is what makes it lackluster to something like Mario Party 6.

Then don't respond to the post
You should respect everyone's opinion

I should at least acknowledge that I don't give a damn

I'm not going to continue arguing over the quality Galaxy 2

I need you to explain how TTYD is one of the worst games in the Mario franchise.
Is this your opinion?
No. TTYD is my favorite RPG. I want to know why 3D Player hates it.
He hasn't played any Mario RPGs except for Super Paper Mario. He says that he saw Let's Plays of the other Paper Mario games and stated that they didn't look very interesting. I am surprised at how he thinks that, but he does.
