y'all remember how huge spore was supposed to be and then it came out and it was nothing like anyone expected and like...it was still a fine game but it was so fuckin disappointing compared to what was promised and expected
nowadays i think a lot of people who get into spore aren't aware of that and might just hear 'oh the game was disappointing' and they play it and are like 'okay this is a pretty decent game tho???????????' like you weren't there fam you didn't experience the hype and expectations
