i'm not opposed to emulation, obviously, but i legit think a lot of the anger around the switch 2 you see online (especially that pathetic 'boycott' announced by a group that literally has a link to the r/fucknintendo subreddit on their website lmao) is from people who fully and completely expected that they'd be able to rip and/or pirate switch 2 games and emulate them on their PCs from day one of the console being out because they only got into emulation with the switch era (where an actual hardware flaw made homebrew and shit really is) but even then the fuckin first switch emulators still weren't released until early 2018, nearly a year later (which is still hella early for a modern system but it still wasn't day one)

i took an extra strength tylenol and it gave me the extra strength autism and it caused me to install arch btw in a VM and then linux mint in a VM inside that
