Super Mario 3D All-Stars

On PC is better, because you don't have to rebuy the games like every 8 bloody years whenever a new console comes along that you can play on.

But there's also the risk of piracy and malware.

I'm talking about an official PC release.

But I suppose I do have to worry about malware. Denuvo and SecuRom are sneaky bastards.

Sometimes I just kinda wish Nintendo had old games available on like, GoG or Steam or something, similar to how Sega releases their old Sonic games on there. I'd buy Super Mario Galaxy on PC.
they have consoles to sell though

I mean, if they're not going to put a Virtual Console on their own consoles, might as well add it on a better accessible platform. 🤷‍♂️

so, i know its weird to just bump a thread, but like, 5 months or something after the collection came out, everyone has probably formulated an opinion on it. should i buy it? i dont usually ask these kinds of things, but yknow, limited time. i only have 2 months

It feels so incomplete without it! What's Galaxy 1 without 2??
I mean first of all, the second one isn't as good as the first one, second of all I feel like it would kinda be unfair for the 2 other games, third of all It's good as it is, it even is 3 games in 3d all stars

It depends on what you want and if you feel like there's value. For $60 you get the original versions of 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy, and the ability to play them all on the Switch. The main reason that I bought it is because I'd never played Sunshine, but the other games still had value to me because I'd never beaten 64 or 100%ed Galaxy, so it gave me a convenient opportunity to go back to them.
