i have no plans to get either but if i had to choose i think id go with play stations. id like to play the ratchet and clank games someday but i dont have Anything theyre on

I can't realistically afford either one right now, though I'm more interested in the PS5 for the new Ratchet and part 2 of the FF7 remake.

Never owned either console, but PS has always been the more appealing one, as it has LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank, and Dreams.

well the xbox 360 is the only non-nintendo console i have any care for and even then its mainly only minecraft xbox 360 edition and lego indiana jones 2 but both of those games aren't even (to me) exclusive since i also own the java and windows 10 editions of minecraft and the wii edition of LIJ2. so yeah i'm very unlikely to get either. but i think i'd prefer the xbox series x because its more closely linked to microsoft and hence minecraft and so forth and i think my minecraft experience on that would be better. i don't think i really have any games besides that that i'd really want on either. i guess dreams for ps4 looks pretty cool tho and apparently the ps5 will have backward compatibility so that's great

The Playstation 5. It will be my first Playstation console since the original. And I can barely remember having the original.

I'd probably get PS5. The games look better (IMO) and the controller has a real D-pad. But I'll just wait for Nintendo to release their new console.

Don't plan on getting either for a while. I generally prefer Playstation to Xbox so leaning more towards PS5. But that new Rare game looks really pretty...

Realistically, I would pick neither because there's little chance I would use them everyday, since it involves using the TV to use (and it's a shared TV). Plus, as long as online play mandates a subscription, that would be a dealbreaker. I could tolerate what Nintendo did because it has a cheap option (the family plan) and has the free games as a bonus. If you need me to pick one or the other, it would be the Playstation because it has far better support in Malaysia than the Xbox, even though the latter is a bit better in terms of features. But again, neither option is feasible to me.

Thank you for reading.

personally not interested in either of them at launch, since im not particularly compelled by any of the exclusives and i barely use my ps4 anymore so i feel it's probably not worth the investment, but i might get a ps5 once the inevitable cheaper slim version comes out... we'll see how things go the next couple of years. i dont really see any compelling reason for me to buy a series x, since all of xbox's future games will be available on PC now anyway, so if they ever release something im interested in i can just play it on there

Currently leaning toward a Series X because I want a 4K Bluray player that lets me play at least some of my bricked xbox 360 games pile frame-corrected Perfect Dark Zero

(Though my tune would change entirely if Sony ever announce the long-teased rerelease of Resistance: Fall Of Man...)

Pretty sure you can do that with the XB One X already.

I don't know much about either one but I don't think I'd be interested enough in either to warrant the insanely high prices. Nintendo systems just have so many games I love and they're affordable, too. I don't hold anything against the other systems but I feel it's far too much money to spend on something that may or may not hold my interest, and even if I did take the plunge I'd sooner buy an older system like an Xbox 360, as opposed to a next gen one.

I only my new TV for my birthday last month and I figured I can wait a bit for the better PD0 player. I'm especially intrigued by what they said about doubling framerates on certain games and having hardware-level HDR on original xbox and 360 games.
