Waldorf and Statler (The Muppet Show) on Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker:

Waldorf: (Looking down from the theater box that Statler jumped out of) He shouldn't have jumped, the movie's not that bad.
i've possibly seen the worst movie trailer of my entire lifetime, not because the animation was bad or anything, but because the entire thing was just Garfield and Odie on a roomba going back and forth for about a minute or so
Never thought I'd see what appeared to be a nerdy college student pull into my neighbor's driveway, get out wearing Kanye West shoes, take out what appeared to be a sniper rifle, plop it on the ground, fiddle with ammunition, and yell a greeting at me in the nicest and politest way possible. I haven't heard any gunshots or police sirens yet so I think he's cool.
"It tastes like Stop and Shop." -something I just said, because apparently tastes can make me think of grocery stores now

Each store tends to have a distinct smell as well. One whiff of an item and I can tell whether it came from Walmart, any specific dollar store, a thrift shop, Save a Lot, Hannaford, or elsewhere.

By any chance, did you eat a Banjo-Tooie cartridge and then very quickly eat a Banjo-Kazooie cartridge?

@Doctor Bowser I get that but I've just never had it happen with tastes before. Grocery stores definitely all have unique smells but it reminded me a little of how one of my friends has colors associated with letters.
Waldorf and Statler (The Muppet Show) on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Statler: Well, that's an interesting reboot. Very clever.
Waldorf: Nah, that's not clever. Anyone can drop their pants. (He drops his pants on the ground)
Statler: (He looks at Waldorf's lower area and then back at his face) I didn't know you were Lithuanian.
Waldorf: (He pulls his pants back up and turns his body away from Statler)
Why did Origami King have such unique and fun boss fights?
So I had a thought, we have the Mushroom City Car Wash Wiki on FANDOM, which has seen better days. I'm pretty much the major contributor there at the moment, is it possible we could turn it into a general database for all Mario Boards RPs?

I don't mean to butt in here, and I don't know what scope you're thinking of, but I'd just caution to be very aware if this is something people would actually want to happen. It's one thing for a group of people (i.e. the participants in Car Wash) to decide they want a public wiki for their thing - it's another to effectively step into another group of people and series of events that you may not have even been a part of and catalog that. A lot of the users here work on projects that are very personal to them and/or heavily community-driven, and understandably they may not want that to leave the community sphere. Basically, if you're going to be covering other projects then make sure the users involved actually want and consent to that.

(For my two cents as an outsider, the Car Wash Wiki going mostly inactive isn't necessarily a bad thing, if anything it just signals that maybe the players don't want to maintain it anymore or have other priorities, and that's okay.)

I see your point, and I withdraw my proposal. And besides, nobody but the forum users can see the RP board.
I wish I had 14 positive messages on how much I make people feel safe around 💔
Has anyone realized how many fictional characters are literally named? It's not like it's every character but there's still a lot
Do you ever wonder about all those users that joined to make a Help Desk topic and never returned to see the replies?

Me, who could have actually provided the solution to one of the people who showed up in Help Desk but then got social anxiety and never did and now feels bad:

you can still do it. I believe in you
You ever noticed just how many dudes in this world are named Josh?
Does anyone got both a Switch Online NES Controller and an Arcade Archives port of a VS. System game? If so, can you confirm whether or not they work together?
you warned on vivian's talk page that transphobic messages will be removed on sight. i don't disagree and i understand people who find offense in wanton intolerance, but i think a healthier attitude to have towards the comments in this particular case is ridicule, followed by ignorance. having a bunch of kids helplessly screeching through ungodly large paragraphs about something as inconsequential as the way a purple ghost is depicted in a children's game is terribly amusing and should remain in a "hall of shame" kind of thing, similarly to how Bad Webcomics Wiki has a gallery of letters they receive from disgruntled comic authors (except not quite as self-evident).

(obviously any bad faith edits done to the article itself should still be reverted)

i own up to the godwin's law thing. i genuinely was dumb and acted on impulse.

but with this comment, you're the first in this thread to resort to an ad hominem, sorry. telling someone their outlook is irrational isn't an attack to their person, it's an attack to their claim. i didn't say you're stupid, i said that drawing definite conclusions about someone's psyche from one online reaction is not conducive to anything.

"people who complain about a game being too woke" isn't abuse. it can't be harmful because it's not even an attack on a person, and it deserves to be laughed at and shrugged off. jesus.

Look man, I don't know where you're getting the psychoanalysis from? You said "I didn't expect to be asked that question, sheesh" and I described your reaction as perturbed. That is, in my apparently addled opinion, a normal assessment of a statement directed at me. I don't know what your problem here is? Is me guessing your state of mind offending you? You may feel free to submit an analysis of your own psyche to me so that I may review it and incorporate it into my next reply in a way you find more palatable.

Also, "people who complain about a game being too woke", guy, you said this:

My response was not pertaining to limp complaints about wokeness, it was about "transphobic messages". There is obviously a scale here, those kinds of comments come in many facets and degrees. My argument is that you are not qualified to decide where the line is, because to some, these kinds of messages are used to de-humanize them, and casting them in a comedic light would thus be distasteful. I'm sorry I don't find that kind of stuff funny and that I thus don't want to endorse your idea of building a hilarious meme zone for it.

Also, really, if you honestly believe that the endless, omnipresent deluge of people complaining about the presence of trans characters in media is not something that negatively affects the mental well-being of real trans people, then I don't really know what else I can tell you.

Gonna ask that we lay off this conversation here, thanks. Feels like it's getting overly personal.
