Gosh, my week has been off to a rough start so far...Yesterday I was felled by spring fatigue, and last night my dorm counselor had to abruptly leave because of some business she didn't specify about, and this morning, I'm just feeling out of it in the aftermath of what happened last night...Hopefully my week will start turning around for the better, because if it doesn't, I better prepare my inner strength for the trials of life that are to come...

What's spring fatigue

@Sir Pentious Spring fatigue is basically when your body struggles to adapt to the changing temperatures from winter to spring, causing you to feel tired during the day even if you've had a good night's sleep.

Don't worry, soon you'll be back to your happy self in no time!
In terms of Mario dream teams, I personally would like to see one featuring Mario, Wario, and Waluigi.

Is this an unpopular opinion? It most certainly is, because I don't think anybody would clamour for it (except me, as you can tell). Why do I like to see this? Partly, of the four plumber guys, these three are my favourites.

Another thing is, I like to see them interact more: Mario hardly interacts with anyone outside the main cast like Daisy and Waluigi (though Wario had a bit of benefit from being there early), and also Wario and Waluigi interactions are always great.

Thank you for reading.
*movie made before 2010 has the word "gay" somewhere in it*

I Love Lucy used the word "gay" once and that was in like, the early 50s. Wonder what they would have to say about that.

it was actually a pretty common word back then, obviously with a very different definition

Oh, I know that. But these are the same people who think anything with the prefix "trans" has to do with being transgender so I'm curious to see what kind of idiotic take they would have.

You know, once my workload allows for it, I would like to try and write a bimonthly section for Critic Corner, but I'm not really sure what I should review in that section. Should I review games? Movies? TV shows? Comics? Food? I'm in a bit of a tailspin on that end.

As someone who was in the same boat of wanting to write more for CC but not really knowing what to actually review until pretty recently, what I've done to get more into that is write a one-off review once I beat a game. You could just look at the stuff you're engaging with in general and write about any of that if you think it would be interesting. You don't even have to commit to the same topics for every review even on a scheduled section, Rose's Quarantine Reviews which ran a while back was all about reviewing just whatever and even Half-Baked Reviews did different things from issue to issue before settling into the food niche it has now.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll do my best to incorporate it if I do plan on writing for Critic Corner.

You can always just do a general review section where you just review what ever you like!
It feels like it would be such a good quality of life improvement if I could actually pick the people on my team in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rather than getting stuck with a bunch of randos that I don't like. Has anyone ever made a mod for that?
I am watching "Mujer, Casos de la vida real". The episode in question is "Los colores del Cielo". idk if I should be watching this at school

@Movie Bowser It's a Mexican tv show. The episode that I'm watching is about a mother who is poor and her son gets kidnapped by a guy who tells the kid he is a neighbors brother. The authorities are incompetent and the mother finds him herself holding a red balloon. The boy has patches on his eyes (they were taken out) and asks the mother what color the balloon is.

@Movie Bowser Here is a better description by a user on Reddit:

Formerly known as "Los colores del cielo" (The Colors of the Sky) or "El niño del globo" (The Balloon Boy).

A single mother and her children live in a poor situation. One morning, a man approaches one of her children, making him believe that he is a new neighbor and promises to give him a balloon. Later that day, her sister returns from school to break the news to her mother that her brother was kidnapped. The woman goes to the police where the incompetence of the authorities to solve the case is noted. The days go by and one morning they find the blindfolded child, a red balloon and a box with money. Although the police promise to find the culprits, the woman looks down on the situation and burns the money.
I just finished my drivers ed exams and now have my learner's permit. For the first time in my life, I was able to walk home from my exams instead of walking home.
I managed to finish reading all of this month's issue of The 'Shroom! A job well done to all writers, and thank you to Waluigi Time for highlighting my 30 Fake News section milestone in 'Shroom Report! And of course thanks to anyone who reached out to me in DMs to offer me words of appreciation for the work I do for The 'Shroom! It makes me happy to see that my passion for the newspaper is being met with positive reception!

Has anyone ever had such an amazing plot for a story but when you go to write it, you can't?

I'm sure I've had that at least once in my life, but can't think of it off the top of my head.

The thing about a good story is that they are not only conveyed through words, but feeling and atmosphere, which works well in the mind but is hard to put on paper

Writing takes a lot of practice, you are just going to keep doing it till your writing skills shapen, a perfectionist attitude ultimately defeats many spirits, you just got to keep going on with the flaws so you can iron them out in the future ,nothing is perfect anyways
Is it just me, or did you recently remove the exclamation mark from "The Bird With Batrachotoxin"? Was there ever one to begin with?
