I would like to see super mario sunshine for the 3ds, and a new super mario galaxy.

It's only common sence. On the ds, they released Super mario 64, so for the 3ds they should remake or at least port super mario sunshine.

I have a great idea in mind. You know the teleporters in SMG2 that would send you to a bonus area with a chance to get some 1-ups. In SMG3, these teleporters would have much wider usage as an alternative to the usual Launch Stars and these red coloured teleporters would have to be activated, usually by a some sort of gimmick which can be anything, even more so than the gimmicks used to activate Launch Stars. The blue coloured teleporters that takes you to a bonus area would be still present but they are not in open sight anymore. These bonus areas would also be something different each time instead of the usual defeat enemies and get 1-ups stuff.

Yes, it is a really good idea in my opinion and you can get really devious but NOT impossible puzzles with the teleporters. For example, there is this area with 5 teleporters. One of them leads forward and the rest leads to an area infected with enemies and you need to defeat them to reactivate the exit teleporter and get out of there.

well i suppose a yoshi world would be a cool suprise after compleating the game
like world s and rosalina on smg2
No, Yoshi from the start.

What was your first Mario game?

Why? Nintendo's been a bit Yoshi-heavy lately.

Besides, too much Yoshi in SMG3 would make it feel like a rehash of SMG2.

@ lemmy koopa
my first game was super princess peach
but i had been buying sonic games as early as sonic advanced

Yeah, I'm expecting a Super Mario Sunshine 3DS as well.
You are? That seems pretty far off to me.
So did Super Mario 64 DS. And yet, it still happened.
True, but SMS had such bad ratings.
And all of them were wrong.

And Noodle, I can see why you don't really see Yoshi as important as a character-your first Mario game didn't include him.

Super Mario Sunshine did not have bad ratings. It was the worst 3D mario main Mario game but it was still hella fun.

I thought it was ranked the Best GameCube Title at the time of its release.

Also, I've noticed that it has a pretty decent fan following nowadays.

My scores are
SM64=95/100
SMS=93/100
SMG=98/100
SMG2=99/100

SM64 = 8/10-I used to have it, and still have SM64DS
SMS = 9/10-Can't understand the hate, this game is brilliant, arguably one of the most challenging games I have played
SMG = N/A-I don't have it
SMG2 = 9/10-This game is fantastic, just, speechless...
