I'm personally the biggest fan of the Theory that says Jumpman is Mario's dad, The Man in the photo on the tin tray is Mario's Grandfather and either the present Pauline is the original's daughter, and the original didn't end up with Jumpman or the current Pauline is Mario and Luigi's sister and Mario just took on his father's nickname of Jumpman either way
