Mudsdale is the next Pokémon that I want to make the Alola Top 10. Its intimidating stare, and black dreadlocks with mud, and legs with mud that add to its power make for an intimidating design for a strong Pokémon, furthered by its Pokédex entries that show it can turn things as hard as large trucks into scrap with a single kick, and it can carry a 10-ton load over a large area for 72 hours straight without getting very tired. As for battle properties what it lacks in Speed it more than makes up for by strong HP, Attack, and Defense, and decent Special Defense as well (spoiler: which becomes great Special Defense if you give it an Assault Vest especially since a lot of its physical moves are still really good), plus it can learn powerful moves of its own type like High Horsepower and Earthquake, and powerful moves of other types like Iron Defense, Close Combat, Iron Head, and Rock Slide. So it's definitely in my Top 5 for Alola.

Yeah Sandygast and Palossand aren't bad Pokémon but I didn't enjoy using their line as much as the Aegislash line, or I think the Chandelure line either in terms of "ghost-posessed item" Pokémon. Especially since their Speed really sucks.

I'll take out Necrozma next as one of its forms has 3x weakness, and like every other Gen 7 Legendary Pokémon it's not a Pokémon that has an interesting enough design for me to care about wanting it to make the Alola Top 10.

I don't see the Popplio/Brionne/Primarina line as bad but I prefer by a lot the other two lines. While part of that is personal bias as I've only used those two lines I still think Decidueye and Incineroar have better designs both than Primarina.

The next Pokémon that I want to make the Alola Top 10 is Decidueye. It has a cool, intimidating hood with leaf strings covering its face, cool bronze-colored wings with triangles on them, leading to design showing power. Its Pokédex entries show it also can also nock and fire an arrow quill, and use it to penetrate things over a hundred yards away. In terms of stats it isn't super weak in terms of any stat, and is also quite strong in terms of Attack, Special Attack, and Special Defense. It can learn powerful moves of its own two types like Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, and Giga Drain for Grass, Shadow Ball, Phantom Force and Spirit Shackle for Ghost, and can learn powerful moves of other types like Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Hurricane, Steel Wing, Sucker Punch, and Low Sweep. All of these things are excellent reasons why it is my favorite out of the Starter Pokémon.
