Each of the Tapus show the developers want them to have different designs, but none of them still interest me all that much.

While Salandit was eliminated I don't want Salazzle eliminated this round. It has a 4x weakness to Ground but it more than makes up for it with excellently high Special Attack and Speed, the ability to learn powerful moves of its own type like Fire Lash, Fire Blast, and Will-o-Wisp for Fire, and Venoshock, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, and Gunk Shot for Poison. It also has an outstanding ability to learn moves of other types like Thunder Wave, Leech Life, Shadow Claw, Iron Tail, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, and by far most importantly Nasty Plot, where if you make Salazzle learn this it takes its already very high Special Attack and raises it by two stages, so any super effective move can become a death sentence after you have Salazzle use Nasty Plot, especially repeatedly. Its design is cool too as it has an intimidating black and dark gray body and pink tail, and equally intimidating purple eyes. Its Pokédex entries also show its power by stating that it can control male Salandit it has attracted and force them to serve it. So it should definitely make the Alola Top 10.

Lycanroc is the next Pokémon I want to make the Alola Top 10 and the Top 80, with both its Midday Form and Dusk Form having a loyal but intimidating wolf look with clear blue eyes, a tough gaze, and both its Midday Form's gray body and its Dusk Form's orange body give off a feeling of authenticity. Its Midnight Form is super creepy and still intimidating, with a smirk that shows it will kill something for a Trainer it actually trusts, red parts of its body and glowing red eyes, and the ability to stand on its hind legs. Its Pokédex entries show that the rocks in its mane can be used to crush boulders, and that it only listens to Trainers that it trusts enough to draw out its true power, which is also an important attitude to have in real life. Each of its three Forms have great Attack, but also good HP and Speed. In terms of its moveset it can learn powerful moves of its own type like Rock Tomb, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, and Stealth Rock, and powerful moves of other types like Crunch, Iron Defense, Close Combat, Play Rough, and Earth Power, as in for all three of its forms, although some of its forms can also learn moves others can't. Overall, Lycanroc is definitely worth of the Alola Top 10.
