Best VG soundtracks

[Fanny]

What are your favourite videogame soundtracks?
If you want to, you can link to a YouTube playlist or video to show an example of the soundtrack.

Some of my favourites:
Sonic Rush
Banjo-Kazooie
Donkey Kong Country 3
Sonic CD (Japan/PAL)

That's best music, not soundtracks.

I always thought of music and soundtracks as the same thing but alright. The MK8 soundtrack in its entirety is pretty dope.

I'm assuming this thread talks about original soundtracks because it's kinda unfair to have games that use licensed music compare against games that have original soundtracks.

Rayman Legends
Rayman Origins
Mario Sports Mix
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Mario Kart 8
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario 3D World
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
Mario & Sonic games
Donkey Kong 64
Diddy Kong Racing
Mario Superstar Baseball
Mario Super Sluggers

[Czario]

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 8
Donkey Kong Country 2 (and the original to a lesser degree)
Splatoon
And possibly some that I'm forgetting.

Also Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and VVVVVV have astounding indie game soundtracks.

As for bigger games, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 will always have some of the best orchestration of any video game.
