I highly doubt any level would come even close to having a file-size of freaking gigabytes. I think around 1-10 megabytes is a reasonable number, it really depends on how compressed it is when you save it.

I'm working on more, but the fact that your courses need to get a lot of stars for you to get your upload limit increased makes the work more difficult if no one ever stars your uploaded courses. And the thing is, I've had as many as 32 courses planned out during the wait for the game's release.

Did you guys have some idea of general size of shareable levels? Kb? Mb? Gb?!

None of them would be close to GB. I doubt they'd even exceed 10mb (rough estimate). It's because big file sizes come from assets (3D models, textures, music, etc), and they're stored on your copy of the game and loaded into the levels, rather than having them stored 'in' the level.
