Debate: New Super Mario Bros.2 or Super Mario Galaxy 2

I have seen many people give both NSMB.2 and SMG2 a lot of hate. Which game do you think sucks more and deserves more hate?

nsmb2 is the worse one though
also i like smg2 but i can understand the hate it gets

You may hate Super Mario galaxy 2 because it's similar to Super Mario Galaxy, but it's a great game.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is not bad, but not great. Definitely not better than Super Mario Galaxy 2.

The problem isn't that they're bad, the problem is that they're incredibly similar to their predecessor(s). They're still good games in their own right, but SMG2 is definitely the better one.

I liked SMG2 but NSMB2...It felt like a
copy of NSMBW and i finished it in
a couple of hours.

well i mean both of them are basically the same game as its previous entry in the series with added power-ups and different levels
i'd describe them as more of expansion packs honestly

Neither of these games suck. That's not why people don't like them.

They're both good. But SMG2 is better. NSMB2 just is the same game with the same sounds from NSMBW. SMG2 has the Cloud power up, Yoshi, most of the same content, and the Chimp.
