Look I shouldn't have said anything, I just get this hopeless feeling everytime I see "the usuals" all over everything and none of my favorite characters. Hell I didn't even see a Waluigi amiibo.

Meh, it wasn't that exciting, although Codename STEAM and Splatoon kind of perked up my interest.

I like the amiibos and the new info about Mario Party 9, though, but there's nothing to lose sleep over.

Just to be fair, the Toads had some variety; like their faces and builds don't look like Toads, but they had the Toad's features. Think Mario Party Advance Toads.

The enemy hosts.. well, they're wearing something, I guess?

When they said "but there will be more Amiibos than just for Smash" they hyped it up like it was actually something I should be excited for. But really it was just amiibos based on the Mario platformers. Nothing to flip out over. Now if they included say, Fawful or Antasma then I would be excited.

Just saying my reaction to that announcement.

GEE ITS ALMOST AS IF THEY ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF THE FRANCHISE AND THATS IT LARGELY A PLATFORMER DRIVEN SERIES!!

I liked a lot of the rest of the Direct, but nothing as hypeworthy as the new Fire Emblem.

Pokemon Shuffle sounds like garbage though. If it were a paid game, but with infinite uses, it would have actually been okay.

things i liked most was fire emblem and punch-out/mpt coming to eshop. splatoon was cool as well
its a shame that they're only bringing the New XL to the us, i was really wanting to get the regular one but i guess it cant be helped. idk if i'll try to scrape up enough money to buy it now or if i'll wait until my birthday
