Splatoon gets a lot of new weapons and some stages. But who cares, it still has a *bleep*ty local multiplayer, so w/e.

Super Mario Maker has a portal thing.

amiibo Festival main game sounds dull like always, but the Island survival sounds mildly interesting.

Ultra Smash doesn't have anything we don't know.

Xenoblade Chronicles isn't much, but it looks good.

Pokemon Picross another free-to-play microtransaction Pokemon game... yay.

Lucas amiibo is coming!

Star Fox looks really good so far. The new vehicles are cool, like the Gravmaster.

Paper Jam looks good. Like the amiibo support too, and I have most of the compatible Super Mario series amiibo. Still wonder how the Paper Craft battles will go.

Gold Mega Man amiibo to join Gold Mario.

Linkle in Hyrule Warriors!

Finally, we have... Cloud from Final Fantasy playable in Smush. Well, that's a great surprise, I have to say. More interested in the stage, though. These "shocking" character reveals are starting to grate on me.

But damn, Cloud in Smash.

The biggest thing that got me was Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on Nintendo eShop. I finally get to play gen I.

Pokemon Yellow on eshop is excellent. Still kind of in shock about Cloud.

Not a big fan of Linkle though.

The surprises for me in Smash are starting to wear thin on me with something like Ryu and now Cloud. I guess it's because they're usually people I'm not that interested in, and Smash 4 is not 100% great, but oh well.

That cover art for Twilight Princess HD got me for sure, and the music that played for Zelda U must be for the game. 2016 will be best year for Zelda. (Wi-fi was being crappy so I missed a lot of the first few minutes).

Also, that Wolf Link and Golden Mega Man Amiibo. Damn.

I thought it was pretty boring, most of it was either expected or mediocre.

Cloud was interesting I guess but I have no attachment to the character so I don't really care.

basically there was nothing in that that couldn't have been announced some other way besides maybe twilight princess hd

and it doesn't even look like a good remake

i mean all the textures and everything are the same

- splatoon maps and gear, that's cool i guess
- twilight princess hd is neat i guess
- ANOTHER fucking freemium pokemon game
- a fuckton of rpgs, mostly 3ds
- gen 1 pokemon on 3ds is cool i guess
- fire emblem fates in february is neat
- cloud in smash completely took me by surprise
- holiday smash direct confirmed

well im not hyped, but i do look forward to the games.

Although there is one area of dq7 that i am just utterly regretting.
