Lego Movie didn't have hybrid scenes. The animated scenes and the live-action scenes were separated.

Also, I am not referring to movies that use CGI for special effects.

I know it wasn't 3-D but Roger Rabbit worked with the human characters interacting with cartoon characters plot

It's a good concept, but Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Smurfs and probably this movie make everyone think otherwise.
