By the way, the tenth Pokémon movie is called Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero Lucario in Japan, if anyone was wondering why he's called that in the tweet.

I know a certain someone who I am with who would be quite enraged if charizard was cut.

so since they have gained some space from not doing another subspace I would love to ever see pokemon trainer have the skin of that corresponding generation with the starter pokemon of each gen.

I mean it's effing possible.

3rd: Mudkip, Grovyle, Blaziken

4th: piplup, grotle and infernape

5th: oshawott, servine and Emboar

6th: Froakie, Quilladin, Delphox

probably won't get any non-gen i pokemon besides lucario unless pokemon and mario both get six reps. then we might get zoroark or blaziken or something. doubt it though

I was kind of expecting Lucario because of its role in X and Y. (It was the first Pokémon to undergo Mega Evolution.)

5th gen doesn't get any love at all and yet it has it's bunch of good pokemon and no annoying zubats.

I'd be fine if Charizard came back without the rest of the trainer. The whole stamina mechanic and constantly switching really got on my nerves.

Funnily enough it seems Sakurai implied Lucario was revealed in honor of Brawl's 6th anniversary.

Below the pic of the day Sakurai posted this:

"Lucario joined the battle for the first time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was released six years ago. The production staff of Brawl worked really hard to expand the character roster--without their efforts, Lucario probably never would have joined the battle"

Unless they change his moveset, I don't want a clone as a newcomer. Also, I'm not mad that Lucario is back, just disappointed because it seemed Mewtwo was making a comeback (i.e. new forms, new movie, etc).
