What came in 1st?

Star Trek couple. Third was Wonder Woman.

I talked with third place afterwards, and she said it was her first cosplay. My jaw dropped, because she looked amazing. Then again, it was also my first...

I TOOK THIS LIKE AN HOUR AGO AND IMMEDIATELY REALIZED I LOOK LIKE A YOUNGER VINNY AND BOTH LB AND GBATOAD CONFIRMED IT

HELP

Finally stopped being lazy and got some pictures from Europe. It's not all of them because I took a lot but it's a good sample!

The hotel I was staying at in Sweden. Pretty nice place, really. Fittingly for all my Buffaloman jokes the room I was staying in had a plaque about bullfighting next to it

If you want to get to the islands near Gothenburg you pretty much have to take a ferry.

Considering I'm 100% city boy through and through, being in the wilderness like this is both weird and refreshing (only half the island is wilderness, the other half is basically suburb

Boats! We were on these boats - got to tour an ironclad, a lightship, a WWII destroyer, and a submarine. My god the last of those was cramped.

The avenue the hotel was on literally translates to "the king on his horse at the gate". Here's the king and the horse, at least.

I took fewer pictures in Germany because there just weren't as many good photo ops and also I was really running low on memory stick space (it doesn't help that my camera is like 14 years old so nobody carries the memory sticks anymore), but I got some solid ones there too.

One of the big things we did was go to the Volksfest, basically the town festival. Feels a lot more like an American state fair than an American town festival, really.

Their obstacle course thing certainly looked American!

Last Week I went to see this exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Really awesome exhibit and I'd recommend you see it if you're in Chicago during the summer.

LTR: David, me, Cassidy

I'm still really bad at smiling for pictures. Also David couldn't figure out where the "take photo" button was on my phone, which I thought was kinda funny for some reason.

Sooo I found this cat snoozing outside my Abuelita's patio. I guess they were taking shelter from the rain and decided that my grandma's patio chairs where the comfiest in the neighborhood.

Some original photographs from my Instagram (I only post in black and white, and never use any filters).
