Finally stopped being lazy and got some pictures from Europe. It's not all of them because I took a lot but it's a good sample!
The hotel I was staying at in Sweden. Pretty nice place, really. Fittingly for all my Buffaloman jokes the room I was staying in had a plaque about bullfighting next to it
If you want to get to the islands near Gothenburg you pretty much have to take a ferry.
Considering I'm 100% city boy through and through, being in the wilderness like this is both weird and refreshing (only half the island is wilderness, the other half is basically suburb

The maritime museum, all about the sea. Considering Gothenburg's a port town...
Boats! We were on these boats - got to tour an ironclad, a lightship, a WWII destroyer, and a submarine. My god the last of those was cramped.
The avenue the hotel was on literally translates to "the king on his horse at the gate". Here's the king and the horse, at least.
I took fewer pictures in Germany because there just weren't as many good photo ops and also I was really running low on memory stick space (it doesn't help that my camera is like 14 years old so nobody carries the memory sticks anymore), but I got some solid ones there too.
One of the big things we did was go to the Volksfest, basically the town festival. Feels a lot more like an American state fair than an American town festival, really.
Their obstacle course thing certainly looked American!
