holy shit yes

So of course it is known that the last campaign coming our way is King Knight's campaign, but I was curious, what other campaigns would you guys have liked to see?

Personally, I have two I really wish would become a reality. One would be for Black Knight. I know Yacht Club described the campaign as a harder Shovel of Hope if it were to happen, but I would love for the game to take place between the events of Specter of Torment and Shovel of Hope, where Black Knight is hopelessly trying to find Shield Knight.

The other campaign I want only came into fruition after beating Specter of Torment, but I want a campaign where you play as Reize. I dunno what the campaign would be comprised of, but I want it badly.

ooh yiss

p.s. blaster master zero is really good and you should all get it

Unrelated to bump, but I've been considering getting Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove for Switch. So, as an experiment, I'm asking you guys if you think I should get it. I'm curious to see how many people will tell me to get it.

BTW I probs won't get it for a while because I'm about to get Spla2n.

Too late, I pre-ordered Splat2n yesterday.
However, I technically could get both games, it's just it might be too many games to play at once considering I'm not done with BOTW or MK8D yet.

I love shovel knight.

It's a return to classic NEW games where the difficulty was the major factor in playtime. I love the platforming, think it has pretty good weapons overall, and some nice stuff to collect. It feels like a love note to old school games. I love the soundtrack as well. My problem with the game overall is when you die, you lose money. Further, you lose money in the area you died, so depending on where you got hit, you may or may not end up reclaiming that money. Also, I find the final boss to be really hard and I didn't like the cheapness of getting hit, suffering knockback(why did we need to bring THAT old school trope back!?)

Overall, fantastic game.

yo

I really love the fact that if we own Treasure Trove we get the game for free as an update for the game! ;D

They are being so excessive with amount of content they're adding; it's beautiful. You can play as a Goldarmor? There are over 16 characters? There's a Story Mode in the Battle Mode!? And all that without any additional cost if you own Treasure Trove. We don't deserve Yacht Club Games.

I feel this game is the antithesis of what Mighty No. 9 had been. This game may have reached a relatively modest contribution in Kickstarter but it is still being updated, and has very good value in-game even after it's inaugural release. Not to mention, it is expanded upon in more natural ways, namely getting some sweet amiibos (which I don't have and can't ever have; go figure).

Compared to Mighty No. 9, which had a much higher contribution due to the association with Mega Man (in a time where Mega Man content is starved), but it ended up with a variety of issues and unsatisfactory performance of the game (for one, the 3DS and Vita versions are, I believe, not yet available when I write this), and attempted to put their eggs in one basket, which is to say attempt to expand before the game was released (I think they mentioned in the Kickstarter that they wanted to do an animated series even before this game's release.

Thank you for reading.
