Music Composer has been announced. It's Alexandre Desplat, who did the score for both Deathy Hallows movies, Argo, and The King's Speech.

I may rewatch Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 just to get a feel for his music.

This is just amazing. I love the Japanese style logos for Warner bros and legendary. Those destruction scenes man. They're really eerie callbacks to Hiroshima and even 9/11. The Oppenheimer speech was a perfect choice. It ties in the nuclear allegory perfectly. The fact that the line "Most people were silent" is said during the shot of people dead outside the crushed train was pretty powerful. While that multi-armed creature probably won't be in the movie, it was still cool to see it charred and dead. Then the roar. My god the roar. That scared the shit out of me. While it strays pretty far from the standard Godzilla roar, it sounds similar enough. Then the last shot of Godzilla. That was terrifying. Godzilla just looked so massive. That is what I wanna see. A truly powerful and terrifying Godzilla.

Anyway, the composer will be working with the London Symphony Orchestra. This is the orchestra that gave us Star Wars.

The official Facebook page posted a picture of the poster with message in Japanese saying "Godzilla is coming." It!s been essentially confirmed that the trailer will be in front of the Hobbit.

Time to board the hype train.

THIS. IS. FUCKING. AWESOME.

This is what a Godzilla movie should be. The atmosphere is just fucking intense and dark. 2014 cannot come soon enough.
