Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

But if the only thing that would be emphasized is physical appearance then them being ''generic'' within the context of the series means nothing.

Just like those people who say Nintendo is doomed, its a bs statement that has no backbone to it.

Nah, they'll keep shelling out Mario games long after all the good stuff about it is long gone. I can already picture them releasing Brand New Super Mario Bros. 10: Featuring Green Toad!!!!

*sigh*

the point is i dont like they're common design, unlike other rpg characters of the same species which may only be merely modifications, but its something more interesting then the common enemy.

Besides, a physical appearance is almost everything for a character.

Often times people dont like a character just because of their design, so saying its meaningless is pretty laughable in its self.

i guess, although it was quite surprising to see dry dry desert in a mk game as well as the star sprites in mp5.

So its possible but hasnt really been done.
