You know, when I see that kind of pictures, no matter who or how evil that person is, I can feel very sad. That goes for Wario in that comic. I don't like that. I almost hate Mario in that comic.

I think he'd fit in with the gold theme, but the level design, power ups and such, it's still a Mario Platformer at heart. Plus, Wario wouldn't sell as well as Mario. You can't blame them for wanting to get money from their games.

True, Mario is the big moneymaker in the series. And now with this game's official release, he literally is the big moneymaker.
