The Kids Choice Awards thread

Bumping for this year's Kids' Choice Awards. This year, it's being hosted by Josh Duhamel. Don't even know who that is. They air on March 23rd.

I took a quick skim of some of the categories. Not many nominees appeal to me, except that the Favorite Movie category should be interesting, with Wreck-It Ralph and Brave as two of the nominees.

Oh god that guy

He was in all three of those transformers films, and my sister feels the need to drone on about him

bearing in mind my sister is 21 and married, I don't see why she needs to go on and on about him

Very much this. This year, one of the nominees is Wii Sports, which came out almost 7 years ago as a Wii launch title. Really, Nick?

Okay, here's the plan. We get Dragon Ball Z Kai on the awards and get everyone to vote for it. Seriously, it's the only animated thing I've recently watched on TV.
 
Edited Kai is better than most the stuff on TV now. Not as good Last Airbender though. (I like Uncut Kai more than Avatar though).

Though let me guess, Let's Dance is going to win favorite game again

Also I see Spongebob winning again.... Why the heck did they randomly choose Tom and Jerry? It's a classic cartoon sure, but it's hardly relevant now.

Also I think the less said about the music choices this year. The better.

I don't think I'm seeing it. But yeah.

Well, for the record, Minecraft is becoming more and more popular amongst teens, and I see kids at my school play that pocket Minecraft every so often, so I'm not too surprised.

Very true. I saw the nominees for Favorite Song and was just like "you youngsters call this crap music"

I can probably see Gangnam Style winning.
 
I haven't heard the other 3 nominees for favorite song (albeit the chorus of Call Me Maybe and a few seconds of What Makes You Beautiful) but I've heard they're pretty horrid.

What makes you beautiful makes my ears bleed. So umm... Go Gangnam style?
 
Yeah, that one will probably win. Seeing as how it swept the generation and it was the first YouTube video to reach a billion views, I wouldn't be surprised with it winning.
 
I personally feel they were all bad. Gangnam Style is the best out of them, but I can't stand how overrated and overplayed it is.
 
It's very sad how the music choices all boil down to the lesser of the evils choice

To be honest it's probably better this way then having one actual good choice that loses to a bad choice.

I'm probably glad I didn't see the KCA that had the Jonas Brothers beat Linkin Park. At least Linkin Park would win against them the year after. But still, damn that one.
