Here's Yellow Yoshi for those of us in the US.

Our publication rated it 6,5 out of 10.
Main reasons: Online Region Lock, Online IP Lock, and lack of features.

As for the full Character Select screen, it's impossible, as you can see below.

Ah, too bad :( Thanks anyway!

Am I the only one who doesn't fault the game for a lack of features (I am a huge fan of the original's less hectic version of tennis)?

I thought I was the only one! I hated Mario Power Tennis because of the ridiculous Power Shots (I know you could turn them off, but still). The game felt slow and annoying. Mario Tennis 64 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I haven't played Open, though.

Indeed, they were horribly broken, interrupted the flow of matches, and dragged them out for too long.

Yes, I hated them alot as well. They also just felt stupid and some of them were either easy to counter or almost impossible too.

Don't worry about the non-working ones, it just means, they didn't officially release the QR Codes yet.
Either that, or they simply don't know about these yet.

I'll test the Japanese ones, when I'm back home.
I don't have a 3DS at hand, at the moment.

I did try out the Yellow and Blue (light and dark) ones before, back when these were the only ones on that site, and these worked.
You can try the European ones (works with Australian games), while there are enough people on this Forums, that can test the American ones.

I really don't care about Special Shots or whatever being out. In fact, I think I like it better. With them the games took forever.

I actually thought the Power Shots added a major twist to the game, seeing as this IS Mario Tennis we're talking about. In fact, the Power Shots do make the game seem much easier than when they're not included.

The novelty didn't last long. It just gets repetitive.

Does anyone recommend this game for me? On pokemontcg forums a lot of people were talking about it, and they said I should get it... What do you guys think?
