I just started Sgt. Frog yesterday, and both my sister and I wanted to watch it, because her favorite English dub anime voice actor and my second favorite plays the main character: Todd Haberkorn. My favorite is Chuck Hubers. I also saw the entire series of Angel Beats last night. God, that made me cry so much.
I've been meaning to watch that. You only make me want to watch it more, but I already have a few I'm in the middle of watching. I've been avoiding emotional anime lately, they always leave a bad aftertaste no matter how good they are.
As far as I'm concerned, anime is like the only that can make me emotional. For example, I see a hurt abandoned deer in the forest, and I don't care. I see a hurt abandoned Sawsbuck in the forest, my eyes get watery, and I cry out "why does this keep happening? It's so depressing." No joke. But, it is more emotional than many others. I think there's a challenge accepted meme that dares you to Watch Angel Beats without crying.
I knew he voiced Android 17, but not the other two, not that I knew who other two was in the first place. He also plays Dr. Stein and Austria, which are both within the best five top characters in their respective series.

Challenge Accepted. I don't think I've ever cried to an anime/game/movie. Watery eyes maybe, but it never advances from that. It's only about 12 episodes (I think), so I should be able to watch them in succession.
I cry all the time, Japanese people know how to get me. It's actually 13 episodes, plus the DVDs I watched them on provided a special episode totally unrelated to the plot, and is pretty hilarious. I would've watched them all in a row, but I fell asleep during one episode and I decided to call it a night.
So I finished Angel Beats. The ending is really sad, I didn't cry though. Couldn't bring myself to. I'm glad they didn't completely make it hopeless, that final scene after the credits gives some hope that it all turned out happy. I guess the moment it really hit me was when
Kanade disappears and Yuzuru grabs at the air because she's gone. I was on the edge of my seat at the disappearing characters part, I didn't know if Yuzuru would stay or go. Glad he passed on though. Living in that world alone would be too cruel.
It's still going to to take me a little bit to stop thinking about it though. It really wasn't very sad at all until that final episode (the music probably made it seem sadder than it actually was).

Okay, I think I'm just about over the ending. I guess I'll re-watch it one day but not anytime soon. All I did was listen to the song that played in the last scene, be sad for a while until I got used to it and then stopped caring. I decided to make a list of new anime to possibly check out and see if I'll watch them through to the end. Kyoukai no Kanata seems interesting but that's a few weeks away.
