The End screen?

In Donkey Kong, I just beaten giant DK and I entered The End screen, but how I can get past this?

On lots of older games you can't, you're just supposed to turn off the game.

It does that in Super Mario 64 too. You have to restart the game to play more.

I think it even does it in Super Mario 64 DS, too...although I can't remember.
