At least, there remains QR code. There is a possibility that it can be more characters to add through them.

I'm not sure about that.
I remember I had a post about making characters as Mii, by which we can use the same character in all games. For QR codes, even though they're additional, the staff still need to pay time to make other characters and they can only be used in one game, which is not helping general rosters.

Updated for Olympics 4. But is it necessary? I wonder. So I divided the big table into two.

I agree with the possibility that the spinoffs would lack of some rival characters if Wario bros don't appear. But I guess DK and Bowser can do that, especially that they're absent in several titles. It's also a pity that some recurring bosses have relatively fewer chances in Mario games.

There are two things I was shocked alittle, one is Waluigi appeared in both new titles that aren't the major release of each series. The second is the appearance of Rosalina in DXGP, where even Birdo and Daisy hasn't appeared in the arcade series yet. It could have been a good news if it means Waluigi and Rosalina have more spotlights, however, some others such as Yoshi or Wario who already appeared in previous titles appear again this time, which isn't a good thing.
