Mario Q&A

Why does Bowser have Goombas as his highest ranked minions?
He doesn't.

Are Shine Sprites more powerful than Stars?

They're both powerul to a certain degree. As you can see in Sunshine, Shine Sprite provide sunlight which Isle Delfino needs in order to grow their fruit and in TTYD, Shine Sprites make your partners stronger evidenced by the fact that it raises their attack power and gives them a new move, however, being powered up by the Shine Sprites doesn't prevent them from taking damage.

As far as the stars go. They have power as well. They can make Mario invincible as he can touch any enemy without getting hurt but its only temporary unlike the shine sprites the party members use which is most likley permanent. While in Super Mario 64, Bowser used the stars to create the worlds in the game, while Mario used them to break the spell on the locked castle doors. While in Galaxy, stars were needed to fuel the Cosmic Obervatory and Starship Mario in order to catch up to Bowser.

So like I stated at the beginning of the post, both stars and shine sprites are powerful, but whichever is more powerful is up to your interpretation.

The particular Koopa Shell has buoyancy.

The tail is the electric shocker, not the manta ray itself.

The Mario Baseball games would like to have a word with you. Toad has above-average batting with body check.

Both fall in the same category as rays, though.

Manta Rays, from what I have read, are harmless to divers.
