You should bother with them. You need them to access certain levels.

Just because PTR doesn't have hundreds of Star Medals doesn't mean that the current total is not worth saying. This thread concerns discussion of the game and is not primarily designed for users to brag about their accomplishments. Remember, some people (including myself) are just recently getting their hands on it, and some aren't trying to collect Star Medals to the extent that others are.

That seems hard the crown level. Is there an airship level where you face boom boom and pom pom?

Yes. Once where you face them separately and once where you face them at the same time.

I beat the main story just last night. And unlocked Luigi today. Pretty neat.

Anyone else think the levels should have been themed? Like World 1 is grasslands. I also think there should have been more ghost houses and water/island-themed levels.
