I thought both years were kinda weak for gaming overall, but when we’re talking Nintendo, I’d say 2021 for the strong revival of the Metroid series.

Itoi himself says the series is done, however they could not only release Mother 3 in the west, but give it a new coat of paint like they’re doing with Live a Live.
