  • Many thanks from the bottom of my heart to 'Shroom Staff for granting me the Golden Mario Award, Diamond Bowser Award, Golden Peach Award, Diamond Yoshi Award, and Diamond and Golden Toad Awards in this year's End of the Year Awards in the Holiday Special of The 'Shroom! It really means a lot to me that all the efforts I have put into my writing plan for The 'Shroom this year are appreciated by both 'Shroom Staff and readers alike! Additional thanks from the bottom of my heart to those who gave last month's TV Tomorrow section I wrote for Fake News a shout-out in Poochy's Picks this month as well as voting said section into second place for Fake News Section of the Month! If it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't be so devoted to writing for The 'Shroom so dutifully!

Hey, everything okay? You removed your profile picture and I just wanted to make sure you're alright.
Am I the only one who thought the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song said "Come inside and get surprised" instead of "Come inside, it's fun inside" at a younger age?

I'm once again having one of those days where I'm dwelling on all sorts of things from days past, days of here and now, and days of yet to come. And it's once again not a pretty day to be having.

Trust me, bud, we all just have one of those days, but don't worry, you'll be alright.

I know I will, but your endorsement means a lot all the same. Thanks, @Boo1268 ❤️
Based on what I'm seeing here, it's looking like we might have to have an exhibition match at the Glitz Pit sometime 🤔

Well, I could interpret from the way you worded that post as a proposal for a Shroom collab story, and that's when the idea for one happened to strike me. 😄

That wasn't my initial thought but as soon as I posted it, I thought "Man, that would make a good Shroom collab." If you want to make it a real thing though, shoot me a message sometime and I'd be happy to work with you.

Will do! I'm sure that my 'Shroom schedule would allow for it at one point or another!
Check out Fake News and Palette Swap in today's 'Shroom issue once it drops later! Wallace Ulysses will be sidestepping into the non-existent shoes of ClawgripFan9001 by covering a baseball game between Waluigi and his green-clad rival in Sport Report, that rugged reporter Claw Gripstofferson will be covering a recent economic surge for the Glitzville Fresh Juice Shop in News Flush, and Waluigi and his Band of Brothers continue to clean out Chateau du Framboise of the Luff Empire's spooks in Die WAH With A Vengeance - Part 3!
Being by myself in the late night hours often gives me the tendency to dwell on all sorts of things from the past to the present and finally the future. Am I the only one who does that when by myself in the late night hours?

One's mind drifting aimlessly and getting stuck on certain thoughts is a fairly common late-night experience. You're far from alone with that.

One of the best pieces of advice I've ever heard is never to trust what your brain tells you about your life after 9:00 PM. You're definitely not alone and honestly, I would love to see a professional study about why it's so common.
The last two days at work (Yesterday and today) have been pretty boring. There hasn't been any mail for me to pick up and deliver, so for the most part, I have just been sitting around in the office and answering to the mailroom package exchange point every now and then.

@Boo1268 It's a good job, I can tell you that. It's physically challenging work, outdoors. I guarantee you'll not go hungry, because even in the age of the internet, with e-mail and the like being a thing, actual letters still aren't outdated, especially within the type of postal network I'm employed under.

Well good for you! People deserve a job that not only pays well but also you enjoy
Apparently, Peta is going after Nintendo once again because of their inclusion of cows having nose rings in Mario Kart World. After they made those two Super Mario Bros style games to protest against KFC and McDonald's as well as that crude Mario Kills Tanooki gobbledygook to protest against Mario's usage of Tanooki Suits in Super Mario 3D Land, this is yet another reason why the Mario fandom laughs in the face of these "animal rights activists" every time they target the Mario series, lol.
Sounds like I missed the Boards malfunctioning while I was asleep. Ah well, good thing it's the type of occasion I don't really mind missing.
Everything okay, Clawgrip? I noticed you don't have a profile picture anymore.

@Cayde It's not really the games that aren't bringing me the fulfillment I'm looking for. It's more so roleplaying and writing fanfiction in the Sonic fandom or just generally being in Sonic fandom spaces that aren't bringing me the fulfillment that I'm looking for.

@Cayde You're welcome. I'm hoping that roleplaying and writing fanfiction for the Animal Crossing fandom as well as being in general Animal Crossing fandom spaces will bring me new forms of fulfillment while I take a long break/hiatus from the Sonic fandom.
