anyone else with multiple sets of pronouns ever notice how people will tend to refer to you with only one set of them?

like i don't think anyone has ever used 'they/them' when referring to me even tho my pronouns are both she/her and they/them lol

yeah in my case, it's easier for me to lock in one set and remember it as my set for that person. so you're in my head as "she/her"

If you want variety maybe you can rotate em around especially if people don't know you enough.
Y'all remember when Sega dolled up a mobile game and tried to sell it as Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and no one remembers that game anymore?

What the hell does it say about me when I'm turning 26 years old this month and yet I genuinely want to buy this 100-piece wooden train set?

I mean yeah, so I do I. Literally ordered myself a nearly 2 foot tall Transformers toy yesterday as an early birthday present for me cuz it was on sale and I got it for $130 instead of the over $200 it would've normally cost. I'm not doubting myself for liking toys and stuff, it's just funny.

Yeah but you wonder, "why is it funny?". Society conditions us to reject this stuff as child's play, but you look at "acceptable" adult stuff and you wonder.
This Pride Month let us remember that Pride commemorates a riot and that Pride is and always should be considered a protest against cisgender and heterosexual norms and respectability politics.

We didn't gain rights by being quiet and respectful to our oppressors.

    I'm done with this conversation.

I'm not going to continue to talk to someone who is seriously arguing that it was wrong for the LGBT+ rights movement to begin with rioting and protests in response to the constant (and often violent) police raids against establishments that catered to (or just allowed) LGBT+ clientele and the constant (and, once again, often violent) police harassment against the people who frequented these establishments, especially at a time when we had absolutely zero legal protections or even recognition under the law, homosexuality was considered a disease, the average person couldn't even tell you what a 'transgender' was, many establishments would outright refuse to serve LGBT+ people (and often use the police to harass and remove LGBT+ customers), etc.

Please go learn some history and educate yourself.

5 minutes later, I'm back from a quick Google search.

You're right. I didn't consider the other side of the picture, which is, you know, the people ACTUALLY receiving the harassment, discrimination and violence. I was horrified by all of the violence towards LGBT+ people, especially coming from police and law enforcement. I mean, I shouldn't look further than my own school, I have a transgender friend who has received both harassment and sexual assault. Even worse, the school didn't do anything about it.

LGBT+ people have a reason for being violent with their opressors. They have been attacked, mentally and/pr physically, and it's a kind of way of saying "We want you to know how horrible it feels to be attacked for being yourself". I'm very sorry for what I said, and thank you for correcting me. I've learned from this mistake.

(Finally, just wanted to clarify, I wasn't trying to argue, I wanted you to educate me on this and to correct me if I was wrong.)

PlayStation Vita fans seriously live in this bubble where they think that the overpriced proprietary memory cards are what killed the system and not the fact that consumers just didn't want it.
