    The only people I ever get to see anymore are my relatives or older than 50 and I'm sick of both those categories.

    Now that I've come to be happy with the fact that I'm a little tubby, and even actively want to stay that way, I'm feeling a lot better about my body lately.

    The hardest part of waking up for me is trying to get my eyes to stay open when it's so light out. I've always had a sensitivity to light but it sure is fun when it hurts my eyes trying to wake up.

    I can't wake up in complete darkness because I wake up in the early afternoon around noon or 1:00 PM. It would be a lot easier for me to adjust to if it could be dark when I wake up but I'm not sure how I could make that happen.

    My boyfriend has suggested trying a sleep mask but I don't have one of those right now so I'll probably end up trying it later on when I'm living with him and he can loan it to me.

    Yeah, probably, but he's also American so I'm just surprised. It's basically a home decor store where the only people who shop there are white boomer women.

    The idea of going from "I write Mario fanfics on the internet" to "I teach creative writing for a living" is definitely appealing and something I'm really considering doing in my life.

    Being a full time professional writer would be fun but I really like the idea of being able to teach it. It feels like I'd be handing down a skill to another generation.

    That's kind of a tough decision. It's like, "Do you want to pass down stories or the ability to tell stories?"

    I believe I'm supposed to write so that's what I'm investing my energy in. Plus, it's fun.

    I'm absolutely convinced that the AI in party games just has a vendetta against the human player. I swear to god, they help each other out all the time but helping me would be a crime or something.

    I have to say, fuck academic writing. I haven't even started my semester yet but I have a really long research paper that I'll have to work on all semester, which I know I'll hate because I hate academic writing and I really fucking hate having to look for sources because I can never fucking find anything good.

    Does your university have licenses to online databases for scholarly articles? If they have a good enough search feature you might be able to find some stuff that fits your needs.

    Me and @PlanteraBlade had a very strange exchange involving mayonnaise last night. It just kinda...rolled away from him in the middle of a voice call while I was playing our favorite YouTube clips for him.

    Those days were literally less than a week ago but I still miss them.

    I feel like I should clarify; I'm autistic and have horrible anxiety so when he sleeps in super late, it really fucks with the part of my mind that's expecting him to wake up on time and it gives me really bad anxiety.

    I follow a lot of Yoshi fans on Twitter and my god, I feel like it gets close to bordering on cultish sometimes. I literally just saw someone getting upset at the new Kirby game for not being a Yoshi game.

    This guy is 35 and has way, way too much of an obsession with Yoshi going on. I don't think the problem is that he can't distinguish developers.

    This isn't unique to Yoshi, but I feel Daisy fans get singled out when Yoshi, Luigi, Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Waluigi have their share of vocal crazies.

    There's one specific Daisy Crazy(TM) that I know that you probably also know but I've really never seen many others. There are also several Bowser and for some reason, Bowser Jr. superfans all over Twitter too. Waluigi also has his fans but I think they're really only singled out because of how vocal they were about getting him into Smash.

    I have literally no patience when it comes to moving away. I'm so bored of being with my parents all the time and only seeing people 30 years older than me. I want to be with my boyfriend and be able to interact with people my own age.

    Yes and they do that now usually to try to guilt trip me into dropping a topic I'm winning an "argument" with them on, "Why are you critical of us, we love you and care for you so much!" You talk about caring so much but you obviously don't care at all about actually at least attempting to debate me, only about controlling me. There's a good chance I will not get married but one thing that would make me reject going out with, much more marrying anyone is if I cut ties with my parents and the person said "You're so vindictive, your parents seem so nice!" and they would keep badgering me to talk to them again. If they started even coming close to doing that I'd just be calm and say "I warned my parents to stop trying to control me; they didn't listen so I am being reasonable with them" and if they kept pressuring me to in any way associate with them I would just break up with them faster than the speed of light to the power of itself, as that's just not a relationship that would work out.

    Yeah, if they keep trying to control everything I do through when I'm like 27, I am going to have to be pretty cool and firm about severing ties and contact with them and explaining I am not supporting them later on their lives. "Since you threatened to pull funding from my college for buying a phone with my own money, I do not feel comfortable associating myself with you or handling any fraction of your problems when you get older." That is if I get up the courage to do that, as like RubberLuigi pointed out then they'd constantly use guilt instead of apologizing and making a legitimate attempt to make amends; since word spreads, for example I don't want an employer, because they heard about it since I never would tell them in an interview of course, not hiring me because "BUT YOU'RE SO MEAN, WE'RE SKEPTICAL OF HIRING ANYONE WHO OBVIOUSLY IS UNSTABLE BECAUSE OF THEIR FAMILY ISSUES" (of course they wouldn't say that out loud, but that would be their thought process). Like, any issues with my parents were resolved, I just cut ties with them and am not associating myself with them anymore. And if one ends up not caring for their parents in terms of both definitions, that does not automatically make them unstable; they might just have not incredible parents. But yeah, if they keep crossing the line by violating my privacy, they might have to fork up some money to get any care, so that will be entirely their fault as I warned them repeatedly.
