I agree that the Koopalings should only take one slot. Metal characters should just be palette swaps. Same for Dry Bowser, he shouldn't waste a slot.

good points. Mario, Peach, Luigi, Wario and Bowser can definitely have other costumes, e.g. Tanooki/ Metal Mario, Pink Gold/ Cat Peach, Kitsune Luigi, Dry Bowser, Biker Wario etc.
